Like others, i'm in two minds, but i'm more in favour for Koukash than against. My reasons are:
1. I personally think he's learnt from his antics when he first came to the sport. Sacking coaches at will, saying he'll win SL within 12 months, the tweeting, his war with the RFL etc. Yes he still does this every now and again, but is much more restrained (apart from the MPG antics) At the end of the day, we're now used to spelling errors in virtually all the clubs tweets, so i don't think Koukash tweeting war on the RFL will annoy us too much
2. Cash. Previous posters have mentioned stability, but how long will that last on current funding? This year we'll get central funding of £75k. If we have the perfect season, the maximum we'll get next year is £150k. We need someone to plug the gap. Yet again next season in SL, we'll see Bradford academy products, who we took time to develop and nurture, winning games for other clubs. Trueman, Bentley, Scott, Brown, Hooley. I could go on. The reason we lost all those players was off-field management. If we paid our bills, those players would still be with us and we'd have a nucleus of a HG team, and a damn talented one at that. If Koukash pays the bills, John Bastian will work his magic with the academy and we will actually for once, enjoy the fruits of our/his labour.
A Chalmers/Koukash double act could work wonders. Chalmers seems very passionate about our academy reserves.
