Perhaps it's just me, but I do have a slight feeling of disappointment. I really hoped to see some skeletons being forcibly dragged from closets!

Great news on one level, but ...yeah...

I won't be surprised if the deal involves confidentiality clauses, and we never really get to find out what the net cash result for us actually was. Unless some sharp accountant type manages in a couple of years time find some clues in the accounts. But if we're stilll around, nobody will be interested y then anyway.

Best news we've had for ages, what with Ethan and Dane signed up, John Kear at the helm, and now this, I can't remember the last time the light in the tunnel was this bright, and wasn't a train.

Great news, like fa says, on top of kear being appointed and players like Chisholm and Ethan being signed on its looking good!

But also like Paul says, I was kinda looking forward to seeing what skeletons the train coming down the tunnel might have illuminated! Lots of questions we now will never know the answer to, but on balance I'm fine with that.

We finally, finally, appear to have a clean slate to start rebuilding properly. Game on.

We've clearly cut our slate according to our means for this year.

Our press statement was exactly the same as the rfl one. Word for word. There was also the curious appearance of Mr Rimmer at our fans forum. Add to that Andrew Chalmers' complete lack of concern surrounding the whole issue and I reckon that the rfl have covered this, both legally and financially.
Their grubby mits were all over this takeover and I suspect they had a lot more to lose than we did if it ended up going to a tribunal.

I could be completely wrong of course, but that's just the feeling I get from it all.
