| IF I was a cynic; I'd say something smells a bit fishy here, and I'm not talking about the contents of Baldrick's apple crumble.
Wouldnt a certain Mr Wood have had a say in the Bulls receiving a -12 points start last season; and also a say in who was allowed to be the owner. The -12 effectively (and I appreciate the players were also to blame) relegating us to League 1. Making us the cheapest ex-Super League club currently playing, with a small following of fans, and a ground, which makes us a nice easy picking and good investment at this point as opposed to a couple of years ago. Or maybe I'm just being cynical.

Definitely inside ing out. And please don't take this as an endorsement of him as chairman but never was there a saying more wrong than 'What goes around comes around' and therefore someone with his influence and knowledge of the internal workings of the RFL could be an asset.

Well, back in the day, as a young man in Buttershaw, I do believe he was a season ticket holder....or, at least a fan of the club.

| Jesus, people complained last year about the inability to buy a pie or packet of crisps anywhere in the ground. They've no chance with Nige able to get in before the fans.

| I think everyone is adding two and two together and making 67...
Wood has left the Board of Super League Europe. He is still the CEO of the RFL. He is also being strongly tipped to be the next CEO of the RLIF (Rugby League International Federation). He's already Chairman of the latter, but is rumoured to be lined up as CEO.
So the notion that he is 'looking for a job' is clearly fanciful. He already has one that pays £340K per annum and is probably going to be taking on another that will doubtless be very lucrative. Hardly someone who is scratching around for an income...

| There's every chance being RLIF CEO isn't a full time job anyway. Board roles for the governing bodies are often done by existing club chairmen.
I don't think it's a matter of him being stuck for a job, more a few jigsaw pieces that seem to maybe fit together along with a lot of rumour and conjecture.

The RFL job isn't full time either. He only does 3 days a week for that wedge he gets.
