Kear as Director of Rugby (or whatever) always seemed a strange fit for him at Wakefield to me. He seems to relish the hands on part of coaching and whenever you see him on Sky he looks to be itching to get more involved but can't because Chester is "the main man" Perhaps he just wants to be more involved and fancies one last challenge. Would be happy with Kear.
