Quote: paulwalker71 "Thanks for the assumptions GFB, which are well wide of the mark BTW. For the record I first attended in 1969 as a small boy with my dad, and kept going through plenty of lean times, including a season when we got relegated to then Division 2, and another season (was 1976, I forget?) when we only avoided relegation with a squeaky win in the last game. There have been plenty of bad times, and I've sat through some absolute dross, for example when David Hobbs was coaching us.
So, hardly a fair weather fan. What seems different (to me, at any rate) is the way that it would seem we are being manipulated at the moment. The whole saga of admin, liquidation, the process by which the current owners got the club when there were apparently better offers, the whole things seems shady at best (and downright corrupt at worst). Then there's the persistent rumours that this season doesn't matter as we won't get relegated anyway. The whole thing seems really weird, as if there are many other forces at play that we are not being told about.

So you have been around long enough to know it was unlikely a knight in shinning armour would turn up and throw a load of money at the club after what has happened which again begs the question I have asked numerous times on here, what were you expecting? You are the 8th best team in this division and from what I have seen that is probably about right, you have been dealt almost an impossible hand because of the RFL panicking and not knowing what to do(I still believe they thought or think they can help Bradford, afterall they would be stupid not to) but you just have to get on with it. I truly believe if this had of been some other club like Rochdale or Dewsbury then that team would no longer exist or at least would not be at this level so again its not a great place to be but you still have a club.
