| I am pleased to have a club to follow, matches to watch, and the enjoyment of striving to achieve something. In this case survival. It's a lot better than I'd thought in December.
I'd love us to have owners who were plowing millions into this season. We haven't. Whether because they don't have it or are saving it or a brave new world, I don't know. I don't think that people complaining about others not piling in enough money is particularly rational. If you're that convinced that there's a return then put your own millions in; otherwise you're just begging.
I am a supporter and I will keep on supporting.

| I'm as grateful as all the fans on here that we have a team especially after the nightmare in December but how much blood can be squeezed out of that stone. Do the new owners just get a free pass on everything because the team exists in some capacity?

| Quote roger daly="roger daly"Should we all think now that the owners have been given assurance by the powers that be will be making changes and the Bulls will be fine
Yes none of us know and it's all hearsay and yes some of it from me but we've got to be honest now if things stay the same the door will be getting permanently locked in the near future
I cannot see the RFL letting a club with 4000 fans for home games go to the wall, there has got to be something going on in the background'"
Totally agree here mate, the thing is why on gods green earth would Geoff toovey come halfway around the world for things to end up as they currently are his reputation is completely on the line. There has to be an end game and from what you said chalmers said to you this is my thought on it too. There has to be a why spend if you don't need to mentality going on there truly has to if they passed all the conditions the rfl wanted for potential owners to take over

If you're happy for the playing side to be mismanaged and our youngsters getting flogged mercilessly, you're gonna be in a pretty small minority very quickly. I'm a supporter too, but I'm not a mug and will only be taken for one so many times.

Fair enough. I do think that that attitude is just saying 'I'll take my bat home because nobody was prepared to give the club millions of pounds" though, but you are entitled to it.
I was one of the, at the time, many who would have rather gone down a league at the beginning of the season as the alternative was watching us struggle in the Championship. What's changed? We are struggling. We might survive, we might not, but I'm angry with the RFL for this situation, not the current owners who said straight up that they didn't have millions to invest. As far as I can tell from the administration process, nobody else did either.

Are you not angry with the owners for their complete lack of engagement with the fans? For their inability to even communicate the most basic of things to the people who support the club?

Thoughts? He doesn't say anything new.

I think you're interpretation is a bit wide of the mark there. In my opinion nobody's asking the new owners to pump in millions. Just being honest and open with communication would be a good start.

Have you seen the editorial in today's League Express where Martyn Sadler mentions how the RFL have profited from our last period of administration and liquidation and potentially influenced who the new owners were - according to the administrator.
If you were feeling uncharitable you could point to the links that Chalmers and Wood had prior to our latest admin and wonder if something untoward were going on.

| But what would the RFL have to gain from having Chalmers and Lowe in Place now?
If we carry on as we are or get relegated the fans will be gone and the club will go bust again..
We are a good few weeks on from when I started this thread but yet still nobody is any wiser, still no investment in the playing squad, no communication and no real progress after the initial wins and Leeds loan players, infact we have gone backwards.
There has got to be something that we are all missing?

| If there is it's well hidden.
As for the Cha-Lo relatitionship with the RFL we know Chalmers and Wood have worked together in the past whereas perhaps other failed bidders didn't have such a relationship. Perhaps Wood wanted someone at the club they knew and could influence? The administrator wasn't happy with the role the RFL played in the process. We'll never know the truth but it does make you wonder.
Meanwhile we're treated like mushrooms.

What we are missing is the fact that with only three weeks to the season we didn't exist. The disruption this would have caused was avoided by what has happened. Imagine if a conversation went something like this. "Hey, we need someone with some rugby experience to pretend to take the Bulls on and fulfill this years fixtures. We can pretend that Geoff Toovey will be coach. This will make sure that all the fans are kept on board to swell the coffers of the other CH teams."
ChaLo : "What happens next year".
RFL: "That doesn't matter because we are restructuring to make sure we have Toulouse and Toronto in SL"
ChaLo: "What about the Bulls?"
RFL "What about the Bulls"
