Smith will be needed in the middle of the park going forward if we go with Keyes and Oscar at 6 & 7, so I would play him at 1 with Mendieka at 3. It will also help to keep the defensive line together with a player who has played FB a lot, actually playing FB.

With one of Leon or Lilley in the halves I would opt for Smith at 3, but not at the expense of balance and direction for this game.

Bienek is playing in the U19 game, so he can be taken out of the potential side. I'd assume the other one to miss out is going to be either Alex Walker or Rhys Williams (if Rhys isn't fit)

I make it Kear, Purtell, Sammut, Pitts & Evans on the London side, as well as sort of Offerdahl but not really.
Then Thomas, Macani, Keyes, Moore & Magrin on the Bradford side.

So 5 a piece if you don't count Offerdahl, which I don't think you really can.

Hellewell ex-Bulls too isn't he?

Mendeika was also with us on a short term loan a few years back.

I can remember a Hellewell, though I'm not sure if it is the same one.

We also have Omari Caro at the Bulls, though I think he's still unfit and so not in the squad.

Beefy is right, Ben Hellewell did come through our academy as a fullback before Wire took him off us, but never played first team, I'd forgotten about him. Didn't know Mendeika was on loan at London though.
