Quote Stan Doffarf="Stan Doffarf"Has anybody read the match report? Looks like it was written by a Lithuanian with learning difficulties. The club need to get their publicity output sorted, that kind of thing just makes them look amateurish.
I might suggest they send everything to me so I can translate it before it gets into the public domain.'"
They don't take well to people pointing out their mistakes either.
I have repeatedly highlighted their mistakes on Twitter (the most recent referring to Lee Smith as a utility back-rower) and they've now decided to block me. Because apparently blocking one of your best customers for the last 30 years from seeing club updates is a good business strategy. I use Twitter more than any other medium for keeping up to date, I now can't do that because the person in charge of the website and social media doesn't know what they're doing properly and I had the audacity to point out their errors.
I e-mailed the club to request that common sense prevails and I am unblocked, but of course there's been absolutely no response to me. I tried to phone a few times only to get absolutely no answer. I got the same when I was trying to call or e-mail about season tickets.
The customer service at the moment for anything other than walking into the shop has been atrocious. It's really putting me off having anything to do with them, including bothering to buy tickets or merchandise. Something I'm not going to be doing now until the service improves.
