Even if they were insured, why risk an injury that would scupper your chances of continued employment as a professional sportsman? Frankly, many of the remaining unsigned ex Bulls are almost certainly in talks with one club or another and will be weighing up their options. Quite rightly they need to make sure they are uninjured when/if they decide their best move is to join a new team. And who would really begrudge them that given what they've been through?
