If all the players in those pics do sign up to the new club we'll still have the makings of a decent team. Only ones I couldn't see were Chisholm, Joseph and Lumb. Chisholm is in Oz still though.
To keep doing what they're doing, unpaid with all the stress is unbelievable. I really hope the Batley game can go ahead this weekend as I really want to go down and appalud them for just being there.

Is that logistically possible? If the RFL were to approve new owners this week, surely the formalities will not be complete before the Batley game. So who would employ and be liable for the welfare of those players?
If I were a new owner I wouldnt want a game to take place, supposedly in my name, until I knew that all the formalities were complete, players and staff (including medical) were contracted, insurance arrangements in place etc etc |

Quick question, apologies if it's been answered elsewhere as I don't have time to trawl through literally 100's of posts on various threads...
We know that Thorne bought the Bradford Bulls name, logo, branding, intellectual property rights etc etc.
What happened to the rights to the Bradford Northern name, logo, intellectual property rights etc when we switched to being called Bradford Bulls - who owns them?
Unfortunately I have only ever known them as Bulls, I came on board during Bullmania and don't know much about the Northern days.

If I were Rohan I would be on the Blower to Scott Moore lining him up for when a deal is done..
Should the three listed leave we would be struggling just down to shear numbers of playing staff.
We already know that there has been a meeting with one potential owner, I would have thought the coaching staff have been intouch with any potential owner all the way through the process letting them know what they need staff wise.
If a potential owner hasn't done this they are no good as they should want to know what they are buying and try and protect that investment / make it a success from the word go.
With regards to loans Hull FC have already pledged a helping hand, and I would have thought uncle Tony would too.
One point though, when the new Bradford RL team gets the green light its a new company with unknown finance i'm not saying we will be signing NRL first teamers, but we should be able to bring some new blood in at championship level to survive.
Then next year a clean slate a few more signings and we re off again, if we get a 12 point deduction and survive I would take this as a victory that should further galvanise the squad.

The guy is a total tool but beggars can't be choosers and we do need a hooker. Lumb can't do 80 minutes and Halafihi is rubbish. As a short term thing, as much as I hate myself for saying it, Moore is a good option.

As someone put on social media earlier in the week you could use the city coat of arms as the shirt badge, there wouldn't be any trademark attached to that,
if not a new "Boar" logo could quite easily be knocked up, there were a couple of different versions anyway.
To be totally honest although certainly not the most important point at all, I find the idea of a rebrand and a totally new start quite exciting.
Bring back the Northern! Just need Deryck Fox, Medley ,Karl Fairbank, & Dave Watson back in starting line up ha.

I don't think it is all Doom and Gloom at all it is a "new dawn" to coin a phrase.
If someone did a Marc Green and didn't do a thing to improve our situation like our last and most depressing season in Super League not only would my optimism be done, I would have a bit of time off from been a Bradford fan, probably start stamp collecting or bird watching. |
