Why on earth would anyone take on the poisoned chalice being offered by the RFL just to prevent the embarassment caused to them by having nobody to play in the ground they lease from the council, and become the whipping boys next season? Do they really expect us to pay good money to watch us being thrashed every week and get relegated? Much better IMO to walk away for a year and a new owner to apply for a new Phoenix club (no, not Brian Potter) to enter Champ 1 in 2018. Sadly I feel that could not be at Odsal which much as I love it is a millstone around our necks. If the RFL say "no" them stuff em, I'll save my money to pay for Premier Sports and watch the NRL instead. Very, very angry and sad. And we thought 2016 was a bad year!
