| I think there will be no half measures it's either liquidation or a very bright future. Clearly the bidder(s) have substantial reserves otherwise talk of buying the lease / freehold wouldn't be discussed. Fingers crossed!

| If this was a roller-coaster in Blackpool I'd be enjoying it - but wot the frick is going on. This is just slow torture, and the majority of us fans have really no clue how this is going to turn out.
We can be pessimists or optimists but either way we're reliant on some suits making decisions that are in no way influenced by the passion us fans hold for our beloved team.
If the RFL promoted the game better, none of our teams would be bordering administration.
I heard Rugby League mentioned on the national news the other day, and thought bloomin heck RL getting on the national stage then realised it was just cos some union club had stole a Cas player.
Even womens football gets more mention now than Rugby League.

I think the lease has come into question, would be a massive "statement of intent" from either bidder should that get boxed off.

| For all those who have posted that they "would be done/finished with RL" (or similar words) , for me as a Leigh fan, if it were my Club then I would be "done with attending Pro RL" but would probably go watch Leigh Miners instead & only watch NRL on TV.
I don't think I would have much interest in SL or Championship, might cast an eye on results & tables from time to time but would no longer feel any connection or out & out passion for any Club, certainly wouldn't find me at a Pies game or Salford.
Without the emotional connection to a Club there really isn't anything to get excited about. For all of this, I am not even from Leigh, I am a Mancunian & only discovered RL properly, other than TV, when I moved to Leigh aged 10, yet I often feel like I was born on Hilton Park.
Luckily for me, in my 1st season as a Leigh fan, Leigh won the Division 1 (Old Sooper Dooper League) Title & my love affair with RL was set forevermore.
I have followed the ups & downs of the Bulls for a while now & will never forget that 1st Championship meeting at Leigh & the great crowd on both sides.
Not a crossed word spoken in the pubs & plenty of RL friendliness between both sets of fans, this despite being the top 2 rivals for promotion.
It is a sad time for RL generally of late, plenty of struggling Clubs & some very sad events.
I remain hopefull for Bradford Bulls & the RL family that both the fortunes of rugby mad Bradford & RL as a whole take a sharp & prolonged upward turn for the best.
Looking on with fingers crossed.

I think id be the same. Whilst I've always been a Bradford supporter (going back to Northern days) I've always followed local amateur teams. Me and my grandad would go watch Dudley Hill a fair bit in the 90s and now my lad is playing juniors I'm following Dewsbury Moor a fair bit.
I'm emotionally attached to one professional team and that is Bradford. A lot do not follow amateur though and would be lost to game.
That said, I'm still in the positive camp and will await a successful takeover. Then hopefully it won't be too much longer before we can lock horns with Leigh, hopefully in the SL.

I think the club being the main/only focus for us as RL fans is one of the things that in many ways is what makes us so passionate as supporters but also does not allow us to look at the game as a whole. I would imagine that we all have different ideas on expansion of the game. Should it expand at potentially the expense of many 'traditional' clubs? Should it expand at all? In an era where we can easily share our views should the RFL pay any attention to supporters at all or continue with the we know best approach?
As a HKR supporter I would love a competative competition and if Bradford are not strong I believe it would lesson the league. However, I would like to know exactally what the Bradford supporters would like the RFL to do?

| I find it sad that the RFL persevere with trying to expand the game out of the heartlands with the likes of Toronto, the French clubs and to some extent London, a successfull Bulls attract more support than all three franchises put together yet in there wisdom the RFL are doing their best to get in the way of any potential future benefactor from getting us out of this mess.
That support, which is probably 10% or more of all RL people{supporters} will be gone if the Bulls disappear.

| Quote RickyF1="RickyF1"Preferred bidder means the people who the administrator wants to get the club.
I read the statement to be positive news. The RFL are talking directly to the solicitors, can only mean they are trying to buy the lease back which is good news.'"
Yeah I get that bit but was wondering why it said bidders. Can there be 2 preferred bidders and does it give them any legal status with the administrator e.g. they get first refusal. If there are still 2 bidders the administrator thinks can take us forward then great but i couldn't see how there could be more than 1 preferred.
You'd think we'd know the administration process inside out by now
