I'm inclined to agree with what Frank has suggested. His past insight has always tended to be true and from reading between the lines (the wording of some of his posts in particular) and matching it up with what I've heard, I think we probably have probably been told the same thing.

I was in bits yesterday from the Total RL story but now a bit more relaxed. Just one more sleep and (hopefully) all will become apparent

The players stopping training on Wednesday is a nailed on fact. The information came from a player himself and he said some of them went to the pub whilst others went home. As for why did they stop training, well if you'd just been told that there's a POSSIBILITY the club may be liquidated on Friday would your head be on your job?

Anything could happen between now and Friday afternoon, 11th Hour bid, RFL assistance (unlikely) etc so probably best to sit (nervously) and wait.

It's like watching an episode of 3-2-1. Will it be Dusty Bin or the Mini Metro?

You're more relaxed because a fellow poster (who may know nothing or something) tells you its OK, on the other hand a number of respected journalists (who could face libel charges if they are very wrong) publicly state that the players went home after being told the club could face liquidation and Bulls fans immediately label them as liars and that they don't know as much as one of your posters?

Friday afternoon will be interesting in a good or bad way, I really don't want to see a former big club go to the wall because of off field mismanagement.

If it's true, then fine, but I am sick of this, I heard..., he said..., the milkman told me.... stuff that is going on.
No one will ever come out and say how they know stuff, or who told them. It's all hearsay.

If you read what I said I did infect tell you who told me, a player, to my face, not hearsay. Now if you want the player naming so his coach can then fine him then DM me and you can cover that.

As for the source (does not make things up) well i'll give you this. The club itself should be a reliable source as should be the owner, you know the "I will not put this club back into administration" guy. These have proved on more than one occasion to have told the odd un-truth. Believe what is said to your face, not rumours and you will be fine.

Well I think all of us would have a sense of disquiet if we had rumours of our employer being liquidated (I’m a civil servant though so things would have to be very brexity for that to happen). Not sure we’d automatically down tools though. On balance I think that may have actually happened as I tend to think Rohan would have tweeted something if that particular rumour was nonsense. But of course we can’t know for certain and as ever we can debate the sources of any particular rumour on and on with very little result.

That said, I think we are collectively a bit harsh about our propensity to latch on to any rumour. It’s a very human trait. As fans who care incredibly deeply we want to cling to any information, irrespective of whether the rational part of our mind tells us it’s horse. It’s because we care. A lot.
