It was League Express that insisted Gareth Roberts was the late bidder. The T&A just rehashed it, as they have done with almost everything since they cut the staff.

Sorry but I think the punishments are early laid down as far as taking the existing club on. Pay 100% of the debts and get a 6 point penalty, don't pay 100% for 12 point penalty. As usual it's bag the RFL if you can't get your own way.

Sadly the fact it is gonna cost someone 2M is not the RFLs fault.

Well, it's turning out to be Groundhog Day isn't it? All the talk of administration "feeling different this time around" and we end up in the same situation as before. No one with any serious money will touch it with a barge pole because they're shrewd and know a turkey when they see one.

The only way you can hope to see even a modest return on any investment is to re-develop Odsal and as you don't get to own the ground when you buy the club you're relying on the vision and goodwill of two organisations that couldn't run a bath - Bradford Council and the RFL.

Until someone steps forward with pots of money who absolutely loves the club (and is willing to squander a couple of million without a care) it is an ever decreasing circle.
