| Quote Sensei-Bull="Sensei-Bull"That doesn't really tie in with what Nigel Wood has apparently said in the League Express though?'"
What Nigel Wood actually says in League Express:
Q: What about Odsal Nigel, given how the RFL still hold the lease for the stadium?
A: Look, the RFL bought that for the sport - it's an asset for the sport. We're open-minded about having that asset become available, but what we wouldn't be supportive of is a straightforward property play, so to speak. Whatever is in the best interest of the sport, we'll support it.
Hardly Nigel Wood saying new owners won't get their hands on Odsal is it?

To be fair, i don't see what scenario he would come out and say " I am a billionaire" People just don't do that. H'es been reported in other media (T&A, yorkeshire post etc)
Anyway, he's certainly not soirt of a few quid as according to Aaron Bower, he's already pumped in 100,000s of pounds into BPA.

Agree, think he's saying in a nutshell if any one is going to gain from odsal then the rfl will ensure they get their slice of cake(prob a big piece in his case)

I read that as "If you want the Odsal lease in order to benefit the Bulls and/or Rugby League, then we're open to selling it. If you want it to move the Bulls out and build houses and a hotel, you can take a running jump". Which is surely exactly the position they should be taking.
How anyone can read that as "hands off, you're not having it" I have no idea. Unless he's said comments in somewhere other than League Express.

| Having checked, the person who quoted Nigel Wood saying "hands off" was saying it was from League Weekly, not League Express (I don't follow said person, so never saw the comment). I don't buy League Weekly, so couldn't say if it's correct or not. However if it is correct, those seem like conflicting statements in the two papers to me.

He s certainly the head of a multi million company, quite a few leagues above mr green, though to be fair to green he never pretended he was minted.
Given his time again I doubt green would even get involved,I get the feeling it was something that gathered momentum very quickly and he was swept along

| Just seen the comment above about it being the League Weekly.
There really is some crud flying round. Think I'll take a leave of absence from this board and twitter and wait for official confirmation.
