A stadium fit for purpose (of both Clubs) with a capacity circa 20k+ & all the corporate ability that comes with modern stadia would benefit both clubs immensely.
Of course the question would be where to find 30>40 £M ???'"
Look at burnt out clubs like Bolton Wanderers and indeed, Ste, our own Leythe. The Reebok/Makron is a fantastic place to watch football (if Barca or Real Madrid are playing there) not a bad seat in the house (barring ones close to the die hard and therefore not soon enough oik element). LSV the same though on a smaller scale. Retail parks, college (in case of LSV), pubs, hospitality suites. But it is only do-able if the local council / MPs are on board and speaking open-mindedly to corporate investors. Bradford is a city with bigger concerns than those of, albeit large towns, but surely a unifying focal point for the whole community would be an asset.
Back in my day, I think there was a business studies centre up in Manningham somewhere. Start a project there. Practical lectures, seminars and coursework. Who knows.
Ps Bolton seem to be on their uppers again, another reason why Bongser is feeling for the Bulls fans.
