The charge that Green placed on the company on the day of the winding up order was against the leasehold. So now the club is in admin and Green has a charge against the leasehold where does that leave any potential new owner of the club? This security would mean any new owner would have to negotiate with Green over the use of Odsal who then would be liable to the RFL and then to the Council. It seems a right mess.

Why Green would want control over the leasehold is anyones guess, maybe to put him in the prime seat for a takeover post admin but if he does all goodwill is lost with him and if he blocks someone else taking over by holding the leasehold then he will be the man ultimately responsible for the final days of the Bulls.

I haven't for a long time believed a word coming out of the club and to me the actions of the last few months have shown Green knew the club was heading this way (winding up orders, late payments of wages, placing charges on the company, etc) so to actually take money off fans knowning that poo poo and fan were in alighnment is completely out of order and rules him out of ever taking back over.

I think you may well find that this is a planned admin, meetings will have been held with the RFL in preparation, I think that Bradford took a loan at the start of last season from the RFL so they will be keen to see that transferred to any new owner and will assist if at all possible. I think you will find that the RFL will have been working with Green and a new owner in the background.

I'm not going to pretend to understand but it clearly shows that Green has put a charge against the company for the leasehold. Does that mean whoever wants the lease has to go through him, who knows?

seeing the HMRC writing on the wall, Green and a prospective new owner did the dance and set up a pre-pack.

As I have heard not a word about a pre-pack, the hope of that is rapidly fading, as there's normally no delay, and the fact that the admin was called at the doorstep of the insolvency court doesn't scream "in control". More like "last throw of dice".

I think you will find that Green has had all of next years central funding off the RFL and that the RFL would be glad to see the back of him. There is no new owner.

A lease has a value. Anyone wanting the lease would therefore need to clear the charge to get it. Nobody wants it even without the charge, so it ain't gonna happen, but it does scupper any deals involving the occupancy of the stadium.

How do you know he has had all the central funding for next year? Surly the RFL aren't stupid enough to give em that??

The RFL advance money on a regular basis to clubs, especially in the off season. They can't advance anymore to Green as he's had it all.

I understand they do, and have advanced money to clubs. But how do we no this has happened at Bradford? Do you have proof?
