As much as it would be nice, I'm afraid you can't polish a turd. Which is essentially what this "competition" is.
I honestly can't see the crowd being much more than 3,000, if that.
I'll still be there, as I have been for all the home shield games. But I can't really blame those who have no interest in such a pointless competition.
As far as the game itself goes, I think the biggest barrier our lads may need to overcome is complacency after the 80-0 score the previous weekend. We've seen too many times in the last couple of years complacency has bitten us on the @rse, even when they supposedly try to guard against it.
