Quote: Bull Mania "To be fair if there's nothing to report what are the club meant to do. They can't keep issuing statements just because some people put out false information about the club, investors etc
I think the club must be absolutely sick of people putting out false information. Other clubs don't seem to get it as much. Yorkshire radio tweeting we were days from admin. Last night a twitter fans group put out a tweet that Mitch Clark was staying sending Bulls fans wild. An hour later Ross poured cold water on it.
I agree on Mick though. Now he's a commentator and seems to get more access to the club, people are taking him more seriously as inside info. He needs to be more responsible with what he puts out there. The Richie Mathers signing. If the Bulls just announced it, i think most would have been "meh", but because Mick put out a tweet "Marc Green has certainly opened the cheque book" he made it out that we'd signed a superstar. So the fans ended up being almost angry at the club.
Again after the Fev defeat, he said almost immediately afterwards tweeted "the RFL need a contingency plan for what happens next" sparking utter panic. Again he's been doing his cryptic tweets about owners, Koukash being on holiday etc Fans are taking it that he's got some inside info. Then when he puts out that there will be breaking news on BCB radio, eveyrone thought we were getting new owners, investors, Koukash. I do believe he knew Robbie was leaving but why not say "Breaking news on BCB, not involving ownership though" He knew what he was doing IMO and it was poor.
He's a good commentator and probably does get some inside info before some of us. But because he's getting that access, people are taking him more seriously. He needs to stop with the crytpic tweets, particularly about important issues such as ownership as it just makes fans angry at the club even though nothing has changed.'"
Couldn't agree more.
I enjoy the commentary he does on BCB but needs to keep more things to himself and stop with the cryptic tweets.
