Explain how specifying it was Matthew Elliott and getting it wrong, makes you closer than anyone else... I'm confused?? You didn't say Rohan Smith so therefore you are equally wrong with everyone who said anyone else's name but Rohan.

Fair point but it's not so wide off the mark. Ross from the T&A has mentioned elliott recommending him. Why would elliott of been involved at all if he didn't officially apply?!?! Because we approached him.

And if that happened, it was immediately pointed out to the enquirer that he has three media jobs which all pay more than head coach of the Bulls does and he's running his own business. Hence why nobody believed it for even half a second.

Also a fair point but he has said before on the record that he would like to return to coaching at some point.

Anyway I'm actually very pleased with the appointment.
He'll definitely have some useful contacts back in aus in the likes of his old man and matty.
