A journalists' job is to sell newspapers. Pure and simple. I really fail to see what Green is getting at here. To me it seems like he is trying to deflect the blow from the problems at the club.
Also, he has a bloody cheek when he continues to employ a certain individual at the club who has a long history of being "economical with the truth".
looks like relationship between club and papers at a new low. kavanagh re-signing and team news both not reported. both would normally be breaking news items.
