Convincing win against a part time, injury ravaged team!!

Some good results for us elsewhere today as well. Batley, Halifax and Sheffield all dropping points.

I wasn't going to bother going to London but with us both having a game in hand and us 2 behind that might be the crunch match of the season now.

Thought first half we were poor. Got some luck in that 3 tries in a row were from intercepts or picking loose balls up and going full length. Caro's first was a knock-on all day long. But when you're in a rut like we are you need some luck.

Thought O'Brien was starting to look like his old self. Having an interchange hooker definitely helps him. We started to run the ball and defend with more intent when we got some confidence.

A week off and hopefully a convincing win over Workington and get some bodies back hopefully. Who knows we may even sign a scrum half in our break but I won't hold my breath.

Still a lot to work on but hopefully this will give team the confidence they need!

Seriously though hopefully it's what's needed for confidence. I think we will take any positives at the moment to improve the team

Think Lowes should take MORE time off as Walker and Diskin seem to have gotten a much improved performance out of the team without him involved.

From what I hear Jimmy hasn't been there all week

Was mentioned on the radio that he didn't want to risk any of the squad catching his illness so hasn't taken training all week.
