Even without this i'm not confident we'd have got anything. Past two games haven't looked like scoring more than a few tries in a game. We do seem to be shipping it out when we have no halves.

| You have to look at the team selection. Playing a centre and a back rower in the halves when we had a 7 on the bench is just bizzare, and even when we brought him on it wasn't till the second half. Clare being dropped at the expense of Mendeika is laughable, though I suppose (hope) Mullaney was originally selected there before his illness. How many defensive errors did Mendeika make? Made Dixon's performance from the cup final look good!
Our discipline was awful. Hull KR weren't brilliant - they didn't need to be. We gifted them field position over and over and over again with silly errors and penalties. Lauaki's and Williams' sin-bins were inexcusable. Lauaki should've seen red IMO.
I hope Mullaney is back next week, of course, but even if he is I think Leigh will win comfortably. We've played 120 mins of rugby since half-time against Widnes - scored 4, conceded 90. Looking very grim for us at present.

| Right I'll tell you what I've heard and this is by no means happening at this moment in time. This has come from somebody within the game, James Lowes is under increasing pressure, as we could of guessed and a possible replacement for him is Brian Smith
We have also signed Mitch Clarke from Doncaster

| This set of players in general cannot defend and don't seem to have the appetite or ability to do it. Its not something that can be coached into a player, they either have it or don't. With the majority of the squad tied up for next season there is no reason to believe that it will be any different to this. A decent winning run in the Championship and well short of what is required to challenge for promotion. I hope I'm wrong but I just can't see it.
Next week against Leigh will define exactly where we are in for next year.

We'll I'm glad to hear that he's under pressure. I'd hate to think that we could just coast through this year and hope that next year we're a bit better.
Obviously Smith would be a good coach. He'd certainly get that defense in shape anyway. There are very few proven coaches about at the moment. If I could pick any I'd go for Darryl Powell.

| The only consolation is that we came back from a hammering at Wakey to record a great victory against Salford. I've not fully lost hope yet as they must have the capability there somewhere.
It matters next week, big time, and we all knew it would but even should we make the million pound game there is absolutely nothing to show we could win it. The second yellow did for us today and it probably should have been red. I didn't expect us to beat Rovers but I was disappointed, again, with how we fell away after looking fairly decent in first 30 minutes.

| The Salford game was an anomaly. We don't know what exactly is going on behind the scenes over there, but it seems obvious that there's more than a few ruffled feathers thanks to the mad Doctor. So Salford turned up with clearly the wrong mindset and we actually turned up to play and got some luck on the day.
I think actually, the Salford result has actually done us more harm than good as it seems to have made the players think they can just turn up and it's a win when we clearly don't have the skill or tactical ability to do that

| Good turn out from you guys today, shame about the result as SL would be better with a strong Bulls team in it.

| As bad as that was (and it was bad), you put Clare, Gaskell and Mullaney in that team and get rid of Walker and Mendieka and we might still have a chance.
I'm expecting two of those to be back next week. Question marks still over Gaskell. It's just typical of our terrible luck that our most influential player would pick up such an awkward injury. I think the spine of Leigh's side by comparison has been available throughout the whole season.

Walker was your best player today. Certainly the most threatening in attack IMO.
