I'd personally go with the same 17 that started against Salford. Thought Mellor had a top game on his comeback so I'd hope that Ryan hasn't been added to take his place.

Blythe/Mendeika cant decide which, Blythe adds abit of size whereas Mendeika covers several positions which may prove vital to us

I'd go with the exact same line-up as the Salford game, with the same bench.

If Ryan is fit, I'd consider him over Mellor. Not that I've anything against the lad but I'd rather we went with an experienced player. But other than that, I'd not change the team that played against Salford

Disagree, unless we have a star player who can come in like Gaskell, i think those who battered Salford deserve to keep their place. Mellor looked great, especially considering it was his first game back. Ryan's been solid enough, but not spectacular enough to warrant another player being dropped.

Have to say that is a damn strong Widnes squad. We have to start well in this game. They will be fired up for this.

Play like we did against Salford and we can win. Allow Widnes to play and we'll struggle. Could do with KR and fax getting results to help us out too.

Yeah, it's a very strong Widnes squad, though whether they're, "fired up", or not I guess we'll have to wait and see! One thing's for sure and that is we'll absolutely have to match them in the 'wanting to win' department.
