| We're not that hot and cold, games we've lost we've been competitive. We can't play worse than we did against Hull KR (attacking - our defence was excellent) so I expect the 2 week rest has done us good.
It's a big game for us, we thought having 4 home games would see us through, we've lost one now so we need to beat either you or Wakey next week then win our last 2 home games against Salford & Leigh.
Still confident, Runciman is a try machine and when Brown and Mellor are playing we always have a chance.

Maybe not, Cobb doesn't mind messing around at the ruck so we should be able to keep the game slow and at our pace, watch him now penalise us for slow play but allow widnes to be ultra fast at the PTB which he never has allowed before.

| Cobb seems to be hanging around with the more senior referees, on video duty in SL, for example, so the hope is he'll be given some tuition in how to make better show of it. I really don't like 'bagging' refs; we need referees and he wants to do the job so I hope he is supported and guided in how to do the job better than he has. That said, my heart sank at the news he's doing our game.

Have a chance? Widnes are a Super League team playing a Championship side, and not even the best once. Nobody on here is expecting a Bulls win. If the Bulls play as well as they did against Salford then we have a chance.

| No I am resolutely refusing point blank to allow any Widnes fan to even vaguely allude to being underdog.

Now come on, if I came o sing we'd win they'd be comments of SL arrogance! No one is taking anything for granted and Bradford are more than capable, especially if Gaskell is back. We've been bang average since we beat Catalans a month ago.
Our squad has been announced, pretty strong line up as far as we're concerned.
5 Pat Ah Van
6 Kevin Brown
13 Hep Cahill
17 Chris Clarkson
21 Danny Craven
14 Chris Dean
35 Gil Dudson
2 Paddy Flynn
11 Danny Galea
25 Alex Gerrard
1 Rhys Hanbury
33 Aaron Heremaia
10 Manase Manuokafoa
7 Joe Mellor
8 Eamon O’ Carroll
37 Charly Runciman
12 Danny Tickle
9 Lloyd White
28 Matt Whitley

| The ASN Doors 19-Man Squad: Adam O’Brien, Adam Sidlow, Adrian Purtell, Alex Mellor, Dale Ferguson, Dane Nielsen, Danny Addy, Danny Williams, Epalahame Lauaki, Jake Mullaney, James Clare, James Mendeika, Jay Pitts, Matty Blythe, Matt Ryan, Omari Caro, Paul Clough, Steve Crossley, Tom Olbison.
Baille and Siejka dropped for Ryan and Mendeika. No Gaskell again but no hardly unexpected.
I'd personally go with the same 17 that started against Salford. Thought Mellor had a top game on his comeback so I'd hope that Ryan hasn't been added to take his place.

| Looks like we're going with the same 17 from the Salford game.
