I would be concerned if I was a Leigh supporter, full strength and no class on show other than Higham who's speed at the play the ball created 3 tries. Leigh were definitely not SL quality. How Addy got man of the match is beyond me. He has little idea of his positioning and was caught several times with no idea what to do. I thought Shaw should have picked up MOM.

We could have had potentially 2 tries if the backs had been switched on. All in all good effort from the lads and praise for not getting involved in Leighs attempts at thugary, which they believe is a weapon in there armory.

I think that Leigh spent too long listening to Lowes saying the game wasn't important and nearly suffered for it

As others have said, Gaskell and Mullaney would have made the difference today.

But to score 36 points against the best team in the division with no half backs is pretty impressive. On the other had, Leigh ought to be worried about conceding 36 to a team with no halfbacks. Leigh are a decent team - very impressive with the ball inland, but their defence lets in too many points....
