Are we talking about the same incident here? The one in the second half where the ref placed the incident on report? Because that was absolutely not a hand off. He used his forearm - which is perfectly legal btw - but he caught the Batley defender in the face with it which is why they felt aggrieved.
He didn't do anything worthy of a ban, but it sure as hell wasn't a hand off to the chest
