Quote: spanishbob "... I think every club in the championship should increase their prices when the Bulls come.'"
You're right, all the best turns in entertainment cost a premium, but I'm not sure it would go down well with all their own fans.
Quote: spanishbob "I have also had to pay £5 for my granddaughter to sit with us. She has a junior season ticket which gets her to every away game, free of charge, but not if they want to sit at Odsal. Bradford junior season ticket holders will be able to go to EVERY away game free of charge. '"
So stand with her! You save your fiver and your own stand admission. She CAN get in free of charge. It isn't compulsory to go in the stand, that's your choice.
Quote: spanishbob "To charge £27 for an on the gate price, to sit, only serves to put off the casual support.'"
Really? And how do you know that then? Come on, tell us, seeing as you presumably have the "magic number" which does NOT "serve to put off the casual support", yet keeps the club in the black? What is it? £25? £22.47? How did you work out the "casual put-off" level?
It would be interesting to know what size sample of "casual support" you researched and analysed as then we could say "Well, spanishbob has crunched the numbers, and if we charge £24.82, it will put off 279 casual supporters, but if we reduce it by a penny to £24.81, they will not be put off and will all pay." Just by announcing your groundbreaking conclusion you could instantly fill all rugby grounds. You owe it to the world.
