| Everyone's second-favourite thread is finally back!
Quote: On Thu May 08, 2014 5:39 pm Ferocious Aardvark "An interesting snippet I hear about the creditors meeting. Bear in mind that there would have been no meeting had OK not insisted. And so the RFL would not have claimed a penny as a creditor, since they were not mentioned in the original creditors list. Nor were they mentioned as a creditor in the administrator's report. Nor did they appear in the Statement of Affairs. However at the meeting they seemingly suddenly appeared as creditors claiming in excess of £900k. Had they forgotten?'"
As I informed the forum, Omar commenced court action in the High Court to set aside the dodgy creditor's meeting, which will now need to be re-held.
Fast Forward to March 2015 Super League, which had voted on the basis it was owed more than £900,000, should be given no voting rights at all.
Oops.
Quote: On Thu May 08, 2014 5:39 pm Ferocious Aardvark "Beleaguered former Bradford Bulls boss Omar Khan is being pursued for the repayment of £905,000 the club received for playing in Super League.
Super League (Europe) Ltd, via the Rugby Football League (RFL), has lodged a claim for the cash with the administrators of doomed company OK Bulls Ltd.
The claim was revealed following a creditors’ meeting.
Blake Solly, the RFL’s director of standards and licensing, said the figure was money from Sky for playing in the Super League.
...
He added
But apparently, it isn't, Mr. Solly. "Yesterday, the RFL declined to comment on the decision." That doesn't surprise me any more, they have a huge brass neck, lot of carpet and a very big brush.
Quote: On Thu May 08, 2014 5:39 pm Ferocious Aardvark ""I shall now seek to have an independent liquidator appointed, at my cost, to establish the true facts of what occurred around the administration as I have been accused of wrongdoing and I want to clear my name."
The liquidation of OK Bulls Ltd has been on hold pending the court's decision.'"
Well, so far as I'm concerned, some very strange things seem to have occurred, and I await with great interest the findings of the independent liquidator. I'm sure I can hear some bums squeaking.

| A great deal of the above was posted at the time the three amigos tried to buy the club from Omar Khan and then, if I recall correctly. refused to pay him what they agreed, and then, again if I recall correctly alleged that the RFL 'advised' them not to pay Khan but to place the club into administration and buy it back with the RFL ratifying change of ownership without a points deduction. Mark Moore more or less said this prior to the points deduction and then the three of them accused of Ralph Rimmer of outright lying when the points deduction duly arrived as a colossal shock to them.
For what it's worth Khan has been demonstrated to have put money in (when nobody else did). Those purporting to buy the club did try to shaft him and welched on a deal. Despite this, I think they're almost certainly telling the truth about Rimmer.
Khan's alleged liberal use of the C word has surely been proved the most apposite commentary in this affair.

| Well we can debate this for a while I would think... But I doubt any poster here has enough knowledge of what really happened - that info will remain inside the club for a little while longer..
I know for sure there is a book worth writing here and I would be right in the queue to buy it.
I have dropped two hints to who I perceive is the best person to tell the story - I hope when he retires he does so !

| Don't know about Khan, Rimmer, Moor et al, but what I will say is tha Joynt went down with no-one near him and made no attempt to get up. And another thing, Withers never got his fingers to that ball.

A sentence that contains no errors whatsoever - and both events still rile me..
Next time we play Saints in the GF it could be two former foes on the pitch coming head to head as coaches. Very interesting!

| The info is not within the club though. We are talking about OK Bulls, and the sale of shares by OK to MM and RW, and the deal by BBNL that fell through to buy the business. The current club isn't anything to do with any of that. Green started with a clean slate, and none of it is to do with him.
The liquidator that Omar appoints will be able to question all relevant parties and that includes the RFL. That's likely the next proper tranche of hard information we will get. RFL answering tough questions? Now that would be a first.
