| Quote roofaldo2="roofaldo2"I think you're right about the £2m figure for the year. Pretty certain Marc Green said that was how much it would cost to run the club for the year. I think your figures on the total from season tickets is probably on the low size too, given the cost of a ground entry ticket is £230.
[url=http://tickets.bradfordbulls.co.uk/en-GB/subscriptions/all%20in%20membership?hallmapNow this is an interesting link[/url
If you're buying a season ticket online, you can pick your spot. Now, I've added up the totals of available seats according to this map, and it shows there's 22537 places free. Given Odsal has an offical capacity of 27491 that suggests that we've not only broken the 4k target but are in fact closer to 5k tickets sold.
I could be wrong of course.'"
Just wondering if the Coral Stand seating would count towards the total attendance available and if it does is it your missing 2000ish tickets.

| That big fans forum before Xmas - was it £2.7m was quoted as being the running costs?
May be simplistic, but I took from that forum that it was roughly 1/3rds for each sector.
£900k from central funding/tv money
£900k from sponsorship, merchandising, corporate
£900k from ticket sales. So 4k tickets at between £220 -£280 covers that.
I think we'll hit all the targets by our first home game.

Well, the link I attached did include spaces in the Coral Stand which I did count.

You're actually missing a whole section of fans. Those many people who haven't renewed at the higher prices, that are more than likely to pay on the gate, on an 'as as when' basis. We shouldn't forget that the higher cost of season passes makes that option a far more viable option for lots of folk who maybe can't make it every week - let alone the fact that the upfront cost is not even going to be an option for the many who are unemployed, on minimum wage or on zero hours contracts. At the end of the day it's also going to be how many turn up and not just how many STs are sold.

| That all being the case, I still think that the club are aiming for and have budgeted for at least a 4k average home crowd. We're not going to be getting the occasional spikes we'd get in SL for games such as Leeds etc so the more guaranteed sales the club generates, the better position they'll be in

To be honest Roofy, I'll be pretty pigged off if we don't get above 4k as an average attendance.
My view is, yeah the STs are the 'bedrock' but the upfront cost is maybe too high. Of course, I know instalments options are available, but even that needs a confidence that the money is going to be to hand when required and I'd guess there are plenty who can't/don't want to make that commitment. Hence I'm guessing/hoping the pay on the gate crowd will be fairly strong.

| A couple of points mentioned by Marc Green tonight. Apparently 4k season tickets was not a break even marker, and with twow eeks left we've just surpassed 3k sold.
Also something we totally forgot about earlier when trying to put some figures together is the bulls lottery - 5000 members each paying at least £1 per week generates the club another £250k in revenue for the year.

| Well it's a decent number given we've been relegated and the price increase. Plus there's still 2 weeks before our first home game and I suppose that game will give us a fair idea of what we can expect on a weekly basis crowd-wise

That's a great lottery, no cost to run and no prizes to win
