So where's Slackside WMC then FA? [I know it's on beacon road and about half a good stone's throw from Wibsey Park, well it is if it's still open, I've not lived around there for yonks.....oh and about half a mile from both Slack End and Slack Bottom, all of which were always regarded as being part of Wibsey when I were a lad.

Well, er ... Slackside WMC is in ... Slackside. It may have been assimilated by the Borg sorry Council for ward purposes but that doesn't count. [iThey[/i would claim that Slack Bottom Road is actually in "Royds". Which is obviously equal nonsense. Meh.

'Royds' is the new name 'they' came up with for Woodside estate and some other bits, I believe it comes from Royds Hall which isn't that far from the very bottom end of the estate. Though the top end of Woodside is really in Buttershaw [which runs either side of the Halifax rd and up to around Harbour Rd/Wibsey Park Avenue, from the former Kings Head to to the Shelf border. When I was a kid and lived at the top of Woodside, Buttershaw was always part of our address. Incidentally most of the 'Buttershaw' estate isn't in Buttershaw and much of it is in Wibs.....ZZZZzzzzzz[size=85zzzz[/size
