Quote: Duckman ".. we have some time to plan....Mr Green are you listening?'"
Green is clearly no fool, so we can presume he has a plan, but as he says so little, we don't know what it is.
Has there ever been a chairman of a club in the throes of such a painful slow and ignominious death, who has said so little about it? I am not suggesting he just recites platitudes, or cliches about backs to the wall, grindstones, and mathematically possibles but am I the only one who would like to know what our chairman is actually doing and thinking about this?
What has he said? Well, we know he isn't happy about the independent panel not giving him leave to present whatever that case was, and he is maybe taking legal advice to take this mysterious argument to court. For what point, especially now we're dead men walking anyway?
We know he wants to buy Odsal from the RFL and the Council. It isn't made clear why. Must presumably have a few spare bob though.
What else do we know? What has he done, since taking over, to try to affect the season? When he took over we could very clearly have escaped relegation without any points back. No we can't, even had we got back all 6. Has he actually done anything significant to try to stop the slide. I don't know. He hasn't said. If he has, what was it? If not, why not?
