Believe me Bradfords best chance of survival is to stay in SL!!!!!

I believe that the two teams who are relegated get approx. 800k as a parachute payment to help transition with staff etc.
But its not enough.
Try keeping your best players in SL1 and back room staff etc.
The two team who finish in the top two of SL1 get approx. 500k they can use that to strengthen their squad they are hardened to playing at FeV, Batley Halifax etc.

The only way to survive is to stay in SL!

The top 5 team in SL1 have all got good squads playing part time running on a shoestring. The drop from SL will take two seasons before you get your breath back.

So from a supporter who has lived through all of this and looking from the outside Bradford will find it hard to bounce back if you dont do it on the first season you will haemorrhage players,staff etc.

Two teams who are relegated get 250k as a parachute payment not 800k. But they also get two highest allocations of central funding, 650k and 600k. Central funding is graded according to finishing position from next year in sl2. This may be where your getting 800k figure from. Your correct though that next year is best chance of coming back up. Much better idea to invest some money in squad now and avoid drop in first place though.

Technically, that's not true. As the other team could concede Nil, and you couldn't then win. So in that case, aiming to concede less than them would be pointless (see what I did there?) and not give you any chance of winning at all.

I was just thinking you couldn't have fewer than zero points in the against column but then I looked at our league position.....

A few of us do think that the RFL have let you down along with the past owners.

As i have said to many, whilst discussing your predicament "i would much prefer to play the Bull's in SL than in SL1"(that would mean we had gained promotion"!!!!

There have been sooo many on here who think [ithey[/i have just come up with funniest thing you've ever heard about our club, but basically just want to take the urine - and we've heard it thirty times already, that some on here are getting trigger happy.
