He's already splashing the cash...by hiring a MD that we don't need when there's already a CEO in place (I can see RHP going though at some stage).

Steve Ferres has done the CEO job at York, Cas and of course Wakey.

IIRC he resigned from Cas this time last year, straight after a whupping by the Bulls, (remember - Kearney hat-trick?) saying he wanted to do various initiatives but the board basically would not/could not fund anything he wanted to do and so there was no point.

There is something more than a little fishy about all this. The administrator appointed by Green appoints him as the owner with one of the RFL's boys in charge. And it comes out that the winning bid is no better than the Koukash's.
I wonder if Green has agreed to not cause a fuss about the points deduction.

Well at least we have an owner and now out of special measures, hard to get too excited given previous let downs though. Obviously he isn't in the same league in terms of wealth as MK but let's hear what he has to say first before writing him off. Perhaps there is still an opportunity for others to get on board if they're interested.
