Language Timothy
are we sitting comfortably?
Back in the day when swearing wasn't as widely accepted as it is by this current generation, people would try to emphasise their displeasure by swearing, without actually swearing.
One of the ways to do this, was for example in the case of the phrase "fu**ing"
the phrase "fu**ing"was often replaced with "effing"......so "fu**ing hell" became "effing hell".
Efan (pronounced EFFAN) can be mistaken for Effing...especially if you are from south of Watford and the "g" becomes optional...as in effin'.
In the early 80;s their was a situation comedy called "Sorry" featuring British Comedic Stalwart, Ronnie Corbett as Timothy Lumsden, a 41 year old living at home with his parents. If ever this man used a phrase to express his frustration, his father would often mishear this and thinking his son had sworn, would say
'Language Timothy"
Along the lines of many British Situation Comedy programmes of that era, it was kept going for at least 2 seasons too many but this was to ensure that its star, Corbett, was contracted to the BBC and couldn't work for ITV.
So, Efan could be misheard as Effing (effin' in the south) and therefore heard as swearing, which to someone over the age of 30 would illicit a response of "Language Timothy"

Starting to get fed up now, first it was interesting then intriguing then I was looking forward to finding out who wins the polished turd of the SL now the admin and RFL are dragging it out (saying RFL as not doubt the ratification will take a week or 2 before we can sign player and what not).
It has to be sorted by the morning as we need a few players to join the team and we need a win vs KR on Sunday, if we do we are right back in it, and we could do with the owner having some balls to ask the RFL the possibility of 2 points back or even 1.

The tweet about Omar is an old one that someone retweeted as she has been told Omar is involved with him,
And with Marc Green I think by all the cryptic tweets that he has agreed with the administrator/new owner some sort of payment agreement of his debt to help the club out financially - just a thought

I've heard the RFL have docked us 2 more points because this has gone on far too long and because the administrator is trying to make out that they don't know what they are doing
This was supposed to be concluded by 1pm today but Nigel Wood had nipped out to Greggs,still waiting for him to come back
