He is actually with you week on week. He can be recalled at a weeks notice. A genuine season long loan would prohibit such a recall.

Isn't that how season loans always work? On a month loan, no recall, but on a season loan there is the option.

He'll gather no moss so that's one positive.

Look I may be being thick here but what is the point in a season long loan then? A month by month loan lets you know he's here for 3 or 4 games at a time and can be renewed again and again. A season loan actually makes it far easier to recall him?
