| I think the timings prove how weak our position is.
They time Sammut, so he pulled out of Cas game and then played against us.
They time Scruts so he can't play against London, which obviously gives them a boost.
We couldn't even hold out until Monday, such bad times at the Bulls :/
Wakey are playing a blinder and giving themselves every chance.

| We've now lost our player of the year and our top try scorer from last season, both on the eve of important matches. I have to admit, Wakefield are excellent vultures.

They've had plenty of experience from vultures on their players.
It's like natural selection, survival of the fittest.

| I’m afraid, at the end of the day, the bloke’s got a wife & family to support.
He probably knows slightly more than anyone on these boards, unfortunately, even he doesn’t know how it will pan out at Bradford.
He’s just a bloke trying to earn a crust.

| I also don't see Wakefield in any way as vultures. They may have some exceptionally unsavoury "fans", most of whom sadly seem to gravitate here, but as a club, if Scruton or anyone is available and the numbers add up, then as long as they don't do anything against the rules, what is wrong with getting in when they get a chance of picking up a fine player?

| I agree. Wakefield are trying to survive and signing players from their rivals, who simultaneously can do a job for them is a no brainer.
The attitude of some of their fans (the emphasis on 'some') really saddens me but the club is doing what it needs to do.

| At the moment it is Wakefield for the simple reason that they are one of the few teams who will have room within the cap. I am sure that without the £300k sky windfall they would not have been able to do this.
Bradford are clearly in need of their own Michael Carte, who has made a number of difficult decisions, decisions which Bradford tried to avoid

To be honest I think it was more OK and MM refusing to come to a deal which is why we originally went into admin.
The funny thing is OK was reportedly one of consortiums who put in a bid this time. So maybe if Whitcut didn't seek the 1% share to the loan company, the administrators may not have been called in. OK must have some money somewhere!! Could be completely wrong as we've had that many events unfold I can't keep up.
The only thing i do know is the club is in a perilous position because of gross (puttin it politely) mismanagement.
