| I still don't get why everyone was so keen on Lamb taking over. Just because he is on twitter and gave a couple of interviews doesn't make him the messiah!

| Is this good or bad ? Lamb seemed to have some interesting points on how he wanted to go with the club and was very open about his interest, I for one I'm disappointed he isn't going to part our board but the only question will we be are we sticking with Mark Moore and co or will they be more consortium's bidding of us ?

| If he and they agree, there isn't a single reason in the world why Lamb can't join the board. Never was. there is and was no other even remotely serious "bidder". And only Lamb actually went so far as to put an actual bid in. The rest were just timewasters.

| I can now reveal that my offer of 5,000 silver milk bottle tops has unfortunately been rejected and I wish the successful candidates every success in their endeavours.

| What you have to remember is that it doesn't go to the highest bidder it goes to the one that is best for the creditors. A low bid for the club that will pay back the creditors is better than one that offers to pas 1p in the pound. He is very open except to let us know what is actual bid and prospective bid was. If it's been turned down what does he now after hide. Or is he happy with the amount of free publicity he has got. At the end of the day we have someone who seemed to promise a lot although with no real substance and then said his bid was turned down. What was he actually going to invest in the club in real terms and what did the Administrator turn down. Come on Richard be totally open.

| Yup. In one.
Reminded me of the Avon Lady, tbh.
Thank heavens that appears to be ONE uncertainty out of the way. Although I'd prefer to hear fat ladies singing before going firm on that.
Now we just have the little matter of the punishment from the RFl.
And, after whatever handicap THAT might bring about (and I too wonder if it might be two points more than it might have been had we lost tonight, although I remain in hope that no punishment will actually be warranted), we then just have the minor handicap of the £2/3m Sky money confiscation to labour under as well, and the minor handicap of having the most mismatched tie in Tragic Weekend.
Still, and all JFK trade marks acknowledged, we do these things not because they are easy, but because they are hard.
