Don't post very often but just thought i'd gauge peoples opinions on Foster. To me he has really impressed since joining. I like his style of play and he has worked hard to sort out his weaknesses. I know the T&A piece is another bit of journalistic drivel but he says the right thing at the right time and seems to have a real love of Bradford and Franny. I hope he doesn't leave as we need a bit of loyalty and stability (and I hope the club are loyal to him). Just my two pennath worth anyway.

I totally agree. Any article with quotes from him make me feel a bit more upbeat. Despite everything we still feel a tight and happy squad.

The terrible cynic in me read this story - and similar ones before - and tweaked it to "Walk out on my contract? Not a chance, says Foster"

And I know some may take exception but there's still the underlying problem of this £400,000 cost cutting measures. Of course the players won't want to leave - for both the atmosphere/vibe/camaraderie and also their decent wage each month!

I know it's easy to sit back and say on the outside; but you do have to wonder how much easier the situation would be at the moment if the players had agreed to a 10% wage reduction/deferral.

I do believe they want to stay, because we have a coach that can get us to third with half a squad. Imagine what we can do with two thirds of a squad

London must have offered him a place or at least contract discussion. I think they could have matched or beaten what we pay him? I know players are obviously trying to say the right things to the club/press but Foster seems to always be the one that's most passionate about the club. I guess having a hair salon to make money for you on the side also helps relieve some of the stress of not being paid on time!

I do think the club owe these players a lot, they have been messed around so much and the vast majority of them have stayed professional throughout. If it was you or I how would you feel about and act towards your employer??

I have lost a lot of faith in the club over the past couple of years. The only thing keeping me around is the confidence in the players we have and the team Franny has built. Even now I am excited for the start of the season. If many players leave before the beginning of the league then that excitement will soon disappear. You may call me a glory supporter but I am not going to throw my money away watching a team that has been ripped apart due to mismanagement of the club. Anyway rant over...lets just hope the team can stay together or all of Franny's hard work in recruiting the likes of Carvell will be wasted!
