Would you say the "is not likely to bring in a replacement" comment is linked solely to the hooking role? We have spoken in many lengths about our squad not being big enough, i just hope that his wage is being re-invested somewhere into playing personnel .

Early summer, there were some rumours about L'Estrange having an "NRL Break" clause in his contract allowing him to leave if an NRL club made him an offer. No mention of that in the T&A piece.
He's leaving pre-season, after 5 hard years at the club, to raise his daughter in Aus, with family rather than in the North of England. Totally understandable.
