On the rare occasions we went to eat in Bradford city centre we tended to go to Orlandos just on the bend at the bottom of Morley Street, but that changed hands. It is still an italian, though, but I can't say what standard.
There's Polish food on at the Balanga Bar (where the old Market tavern used to be). Some barszcz, bigos and mixed pierogi would see anybody royally right. Went quite a while ago and it was a bit of a rough diamond but the food was good and plenty. They don't serve late though so you'd best ring them if interested.
The Russian Restauramt is bang opposite the Register office on Manor Row but I've never been - it always looks shut. But maybe it is just dimly lit. Who knows. The website
rl inside the Victoria Hotel on Bridge Street. Midland is OK and the entrance and interiors are impressive but I think the Vic grub is better.
