Beat them and we are right in the mix, couple that with wins over London and one against either castleford or London then I feel we will make it due to The dragons final 3 games being Wigan, Leeds and Warrington. I think they'll get nothing from those games.

They are 'gone' having lost 5 of their last six (and defeating only London and by just 6 pts).

I'm not going to bet the housing keeping on us making the 8. I think we've had our chance at it this year and not taken it. In reality we pretty much need to win every single remaining game to do it, and I'm not sure we've got the consistency in the team to do that.

I'm not doubting the heart and commitment of the players or coaches and I would love it if we managed to reach the play-offs. I'm just being pragmatic about our chances and the chances of the teams above us imploding enough to allow us to sneak in the back door. Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to get the luck Wakefield had last year and have a team go bust so we can jump them in the table.

If - a short word with a lot of meaning - we win the next three games we should be well placed and it could well be that our final game of the season against Huddersfield will decide both if we get into the playoffs, and if they win the valuable enamelled tea tray for comiing top of the table after the end of the regular season. With all that at stake we could even see away fans in double figures?
