I presume your a Shuddersfield Geagles fan, but you hide in anonimity so that sums you up. Congrats on having a silly old fool who is cashed up and will bail you out every season (not for much longer..believe what you hear). We had to let the only person who was there bail us out and we were very thankful. Nothing about trust. Tool

| Quote Nothus="Nothus"Has anyone else ever wondered if this whole scenario with us receiving less sky money has been some sort of 'dummy run' for the 2015 proposals?
The RFL have held a q&a session on the policy review this evening, and Blake Solly has revealed that - should the 3x8 system be adopted - the four SL clubs who drop into the 'middle 8' league would receive around £500k of funding.
Now perhaps I'm just putting 2 and 2 together to get 5, but I don't think it is beyond the realms of possibility that the RFL knew these changes were going to be suggested quite a while ago, and decided to see if a current SL club could compete on a similar level of central funds.
Perhaps the events of the last 24 hours might suggest it isn't quite as feasible as they had hoped

| This might sound too simple of a question,
but to put every ones mind at rest wouldn't it be best for him to just be honest and state the exact reason why wages are not being paid on time instead of just saying "financial delay" or whatever,
whether it be sky money, lack of home games in 2 month etc etc. ???

| Worrying times for us again but it doesn't really surprise me, with the crowds down this season (mainly with season tickets going back to the normal price) no Sky money and not much investment I could see the club go back into admin but fingers crossed it won't happen again.

| Quote FLYINGPROP="FLYINGPROP"IIRC there was a tweet put out by Bulls to say that it was an admin error and the players were paid at the end of the month and this would still happen, unless August the 8th is the new end of the month of July I reckon your wrong.
The thing that's annoying me and many others is that everyone else is in the wrong an the sun shines out of odsal, face facts someone has pulled the wool over your eyes and rather than bury your heads in the sand like last time demand some answers before it gets too late again!!!'"
Nope, no-one has ever said the sun shines out of Odsal. It's just we do get small minded, petty individuals on here who are jealous of the Bulls past successes in SL and come to try and unsuccessfully gloat at the smallest hint of misfortune that Bradford endure.
As for "demand answers before it gets too late" perhaps you should do that with your own club. It's nearly time to start recruitment for next year. You could ask who you're planning to tap up and who's getting illegally sacked to make room for them in the 2014 squad.

| What gets me is the different stories on different days. RHP says it was always going o be end of month, there was no issue, just that players had got it wrong / misunderstood etc. then OK comes out and says its now gonna be 8th Aug. why load RHP with some mis-information?
I can't blame the players for being frustrated / annoyed, I would be too, and I'd be more concerned about my future now.
I think there is more to this than we are being told at the moment.
If they genuinely have short term financial difficulties, firstly, that should not have been a surprise, secondly, if they did know about this ST problem, why not inform the players of the facts in a private meeting, thirdly, why let Robbie come out with the untruths on his statement and finally, why no say WHYNthere is a ST cash flow problem, is it Sky monies, is it gate money om no home game. Assuming it is one of this reeasons, this is not new news, I could see from the fixture list what income we'd be getting from the previous few weeks.
Not too optimistic I have to say, and really feel for the players

| I cannot understand the RFL´s treatment of Bradford, they bent over to help the club last year, but then kicked the new owners in the knackers by halving the central funding.
I´m not a Bradford supporter but couldn´t see the sense in that, either take a hard line with them all the way or give them a fair chance at making a go of it.
Now to make matters worse you have to compete in on half funds in a season when there will be relegation.
Is the midsummer lull in fixtures (caused by Cup Rounds) deliberate to avoid disappointing fixtures whilst people holiday? I doubt it myself in which case the organisation of fixtures that leaves clubs short of home games is very poor.
Good luck, I hope this proves to be a blip.

| Always though it was SLE who took half our money as a "bribe" for us to stay in the super league didn't think it was up to the RFL, they then had a conflab and the majority of teams decided to not improve the game at grass roots with a huge chunk of change, but line their pockets which was ridiculous.
Have a really bad feeling about this why set RHP up like a fool like has been said, and not just give is a good reason has been outlined, and why did OK mention admin when it hasn't been mentioned beforehand, questions need answering.

| Firstly we all have to be thankful that OK and Gerry put together a bid that kept the Bulls going last season, no one else came forward and followed up with a plan to do this.
However as this week has shown the new club is seriously undercapitalised. The lack of Sky money and the crazy fixture lists were known at the start of the season and it seems clear that the plans in place did assume better gate numbers. So at a time when we could still make a play for a play off spot - we find ourselves with wages unpaid, cost saving sackings, and dreadful PR.
It has never been clear to me that OK has lots of available readies - if he had he would have stepped in to clear up this embarrassing cash shortfall, and GS isn't a cash man. Since the start of the year we have seen Kate "self publiciser" Hardcastle - who does not seem to have put any cash in, the Joe Whilley fiasco and various hints and suggestions about shares for the fans - which seemed to disappear. It does seem at times that OK seems so keen to keep control that we are passing over chances to get a better capital base in place.
Whatever the specific operational issues of getting a competitive team on the pitch - and again we seem to be making positive steps for next season which hopefully won't be derailed - the actual financial side of the business is simple: you have a known team and staff bill to pay each month, rents and sundry expenses - so there is no secret what needs to be paid each month. On the income side you know when our reduced share of the sky money comes in, most of your season ticket income is known at the start of the season, so the shortfall is maybe £20k per game due to reduced attendances. So I would suggest that an opportunity to put the club on a stronger footing was missed after the opening 10 games of the season to have raised some additional money from shares- either larger sums from interested local business men or by issuing shares to fans.
I know we are a RL club - but to use football jargon we have managed to score a quite spectacular own goal here.
