I think the Provi customer base is always going to be limited to those who can't get 'mainstream' loans from banks, in a similar fashion to the 'payday' market. Let's be honest, why would anyone pay interest at [well] over 1000% per annum if they could go elsewhere? I don't think anything like the majority of our fans would be interested - if they are honest!
I agree Bradford isn't the wealthiest of cities but I wouldn't think it's [ithat much[/i out of kilter from most other post industrial areas either, though I totally agree that it's a rising market. That said, I don't find the Bulls' crowd, or RL crowds in general, to be more 'down at heel' than the general population. In all honesty I guess Provident's very welcome decision to sponsor our club is based more on a desire to put their name about a bit more to counter all the publicity being gained by the 'payday' loans companies, and secondly it being a local company.
A bit like the idea that Omar Khan took over the club to encourage fans to visit his restaurants, I can't imagine that fans of the club are really going to be particular targets - though I'm sure neither Omar nor the Provi would turn them down!
