| I would be happy with Luke George as he is strong going forward and a big lad.
Do we really need another winger though we have Foster Kear and the yougn San Wood who can cover as well as Platt.

we dont have platt as yet as he hasnt re-signed yet. Wood has made 1 SL appearance so bit of a risk going into season with him as main cover. George is a decent acquisition and offers something a little different to kear and foster.

| Foster may move into the centres at some stage too.
George has some pace. Not sure about the rest of his game.

Instead of looking at what we currently have, we should be looking at it from the view point of what qualities will the new player bring.
Reading the above, it looks like you would never improve a team due to the fact that we already have a player that can play that position.
We should always be looking to improve the quality that we currently have.
George would be a decent signing, imo

| Don't rate George at all, and if this means we're planning on playing Foster in the centres then god help us.

| Foster is never a winger he's best at fb/centre imo, he needs a god winger outside of him
George was scoring tries or fun a couple of years ago, he's still young and has been messed about by hudds by not getting games and being sent to or where he is now injured iirc. Think he will go well hard running winger with pace, Dixon or riley would he better but we are going to be 4th or 5th on the list of teams chasing them I would imagine and others have a lot more muscle than us so we have to aim abit lower and George can do a job for us i recon.

| A lot of people rating foster but I don't know what this is based on? I've not seen anything to suggest he's a centre or fullback. I don't think I'd want foster in any other position than Wing. He doesn't seem tough enough to me and looks to avoid collision. If he's in for a 50/50 ball while playing fullback he tends to pull out. Not the kind of player that I'd want in the middle.
My opinion only.

| I think Foster has what it takes. I discount his nightmare at the Magic weekend as he was still carrying a bad chest injury.

| I agree, foster in the centre or full back would be a recipe for disaster. He would be the smallest centre in the league. To play in the centre your defence has to be great one on one. Most centres move into the 2nd row. Foster is nothing but a winger. And goal kicker.

| Foster has impressed me @ fullback this year, the only game he played below par was the Huddersfield game, but as Bullseye says, he was injured.
He was pretty safe in the game against Wigan, I think he only dropped 1 bomb, but Wigan put up a number of high kicks.
I wouldn't have a problem seeing him covering for Kearney @ fullback when needed.
