Agree with this completley. He ran hard and straight and never quit last week. Looked a a real unit! Think he's from Crusaders originally. We need some real granite forwards in the mode of Karl 'Konkrete' Fairbank, and Bernard Dwyer.

Probably not - but I'm sure we'll be speaking to players' agents, y'know about our players wanting to extend contracts and the like, but if other names get bandied about....

Yeah, pretty sure that's right. It was fairly obvious from what was said at the forum that when Blake Solly told Gerry and Omar that he was recommending to the board that we got the extra year, that they were taking that as the green light to carry on.

I'd also say that, as there has been nothing but good news since the takeover, this was taken as pretty much a given anyway - when you think of all the trouble various people went to to make sure the club carried on, the idea it would then be just blown away without a very, very good reason is risible.

Will be very interesting come the next round of the license period to see which clubs may lose the SL status, unless PR comes back.

Not to mention what format SL will take - more clubs, fewer clubs, two fully pro SL divisions [though don't ask where they will come from, or who is going to finance it...

Class centre play, understand he's not hit the form of last year yet but we have no chance of finding as good player as Lulia given the lack of decent centres about.
