| I know several of our chart toppers are Aussies but interesting that despite the presence of several Bulls near the top of the performance lists the England squad has no representative from the Bulls. I wouldn't argue with many of the selections made but I cannot remember many times when the Bulls/Northern had no representatives in the national side. Still at least FC does not have to worry about having the squad depleted by international calls and players picking up bad habits from the England coach:)

| Considering the upheaval, the lack of a first choice scrum half it's been an excellent start. With the exception of the first 20 mins against Sts the pack has performed much better than I thought it would and the metres stat is fantastic. I'm more concerned with the missed tackle stats than the errors one. The errors stat can often reflect the team daring to play and some of the tries we've scored have involved high risk interplay which has been excellent. Sammut will always have a high error rate but he brings such a cutting edge that he's worth it.

| If you don't try anything you won't make many errors - nor will you win much.

| Let's not forget Sammut has also bombed two certain tries by dropping the ball over the line!
Matty Blythe's stats are also looking very impressive at the minute - wish we had that guy permanently and not just on loan, he's been great so far.

| So far so good. It's been a very promising start to the season and the attack has certainly improved, despite not having Luke Gale fit.

| So far so good but still lots of room for improvement. Watching Widnes vs Hull I was wondering how we managed to lose to Hull given their lack of playmaking options.
Seems so much depends on how you start the game nowadays. It's no surprise that in the two games we lost we made very slow starts. Once that happens you can be on the back foot and let the opposition get an unassailable lead.
If we can sort out the slow starts we give ourselves a much better chance.
As for the creativity this comes off the back of go forward. It's easier to create when you're on the front foot. Good to see that Sammut and Kearney are in the lead in the attacking stats. It's something we've not been in for some years.
Sammut reminds me of watching Dave Watson, unpredictable, sometimes amazing, deceptively strong, sometimes infuriating. He's got an X factor.

| We've made the most attacking kicks, kicks in general play, metres and offloads.
