If hes one of their best then the rest are hopeless going on what the salford fans think of him, that hes just a soft plodder, they are better off without him and is of no loss.
In my eyes hes a step up on mason who in turn is s tep up on fielden, so while we pick up the players who have years in front of them you lot stick to picking up our leftovers. |

Just to clear up any misunderstandings.
On our website at Salford it says it was arranged for Sidlow to go to Bradford regardless of the desperate money side of things. Nothing underhand by Bulls at all, just a player not fitting in anymore and wanting to move. I wish him the best of luck.

I just hope we can keep the rest of our tiny squad, but I think we are in deep trouble and unless we get new owners next week - we won't have a club for 2013 ... |

On our website at Salford it says it was arranged for Sidlow to go to Bradford regardless of the desperate money side of things. Nothing underhand by Bulls at all, just a player not fitting in anymore and wanting to move. I wish him the best of luck.

Trouble is the link post says nothing that suggests anything about the deal.
However Sidlows comments are interesting.

Difference being sidlow has gone to a club with ambition, koppy went to a club on the rise, unfortunately its still many rungs behind the bulls, every time you start to climb the ladder, it slips and you end up flat on your face.

Our dodgy finances aside, Adam Sidlow was not likely to be retained at beyond this coming season anyway, so a 2 year deal at another club would be better security for him. Message coming out of Salford is that is was Vievers decision to let him go, and not financially motivated. He has all the physical attributes to be an excellent prop, but rarely runs his weight, and often lacks agression. Who knows, he may find these things at Bradford! Good luck to him and the Bulls! |
