| Sprogger was awesome from a defensive point of view. Almost faultless under the high ball, positionally superb.
Withers was the perfect support player, always there at the right time on the shoulder of the guy making the break.
Hard to pick between the two, but I think Mick just nicks it for the tries in some of those early final victories. Sprogger played in a great side, but he'd gone by the time we started to dominate.

| Spruce best out and out full back, Withers was a utility man that excelled anywhere, but Spruce was the best FB without a doubt for me.

The more he talked of his honour, the faster we counted our spoons.: |
|
| Keith Mumby was the best--end of.Also as far as attacking went,Keith scored many length of the field tries after breaking the first line of defence. He had deceptive pace and power. He wasn't a bad goal kicker eithericon_smile.gifWatson,John Woods(everyone forgets what a good player he actually was),Terry Price also in the "northern era" weren't half bad.
As far as BULLS go it would have to be Spruce as Withers played wing, centre etc.
Only one Keith Mumby though.

| Withers just for me. His organisation of our defensive line, general reading of the game gave him a slight edge.
