Depends on who his centre is. I think outside Lulia he'd be a pretty good acquisition

Maybe but don't like idea in general of being dependent if one player covering another's weaknesses. What happens if lulia's injured and we have a defensively weak playing?. Would prefer all players to be at least average in attacking and defense rather than good in one and shocking in other which IMO is category foster falls into. That said beggars can't be choosers and can see a few 1 yr contracts being handed out this year.

| Not suggesting that Foster would be the player I would necessarily go for, but I do think that when looking at a young player, assuming that because he's not a good defender now automatically means that he'll [inever[/i be a good defender is pretty lazy thinking, to be honest. I'd guess any coach worth his salt would feel that a young player with quite a few attributes but one major flaw would be a challenge worth taking. He's not the finished article that's for sure, but he's still young enough to learn.

| May be, maybe not. Ainey puts with his heart and soul into it and, like a lot of fans, I'll forgive a lot for a player who does that.

| B4c same take ainy over foster any day. Give ainy some confidence and we might see him fulfill his potential. Agree about effort, he has desire and commitment and raw talent not sure foster is bad in defence or if it is just attitude.
Tony gigot is the French player I was thinking of other day, at Toulouse and can play 6, 7, and 9. 9 today but seen him play well at 6 a little similar to summit in that he can be off the cuff but lightning with a good step and reasonable kicking game. Would be good cover and take some pressure off Cain to come through if he is ever ready.
